The Barnes Review, May/June 2012: A JOURNAL OF NATIONALIST THOUGHT & HISTORY
May/June 2012 Volume XVIII Rush to Justice in the Hauptmann Case By Philip Rife
When the baby of Charles and Anne Lindbergh was kidnapped in what has been called the crime of the century, German immigrant Bruno Richard Hauptmann was arrested. He was tried, convicted and sent to the electric chair. The case was an international sensation, but Hauptmann had no chance to prevail. Evidence was fabricated, suspects ignored, witnesses tampered with. The jury too was caught up in the mass hysteria of the time and ready to convict. However, a rational look at the evidence decades later shows an innocent man most likely was executed.

Because of an ongoing interest in this case I check the board every now and then. I realize that in a quest for information on the case many follow leads in earnest but may not be familiar with the source of the information. Here is another reference that provides background on the Barnes Review. www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-files/groups/barnes-review
