I'm reading Dr. Gardner's book again, and he mentions a man at the cemetery where Condon met Cemetery John. The man (who may or may not have been a lookout) had a bad cough, and dropped a handkerchief.
Gardner states the handkerchief was inspected for clues, but nothing panned out.
However, I'm wondering if DNA testing could be performed on it. My assumption is the handkerchief was disposed of when evidence on it could not be found. After all, who'd want to keep a snotty rag around in a box full of other evidence?
But maybe it was kept. If so, where is it, and what is the possibility of having DNA testing done on it? Perhaps it could be compared with Fisch's DNA, if a sample of a relative could be obtained?

I believe it exists JD. Unlike some of the other major evidence which was protected (like the ransom notes being in the safe), if my memory servers me, its simple tucked in one of the boxes or files. I don't know if that would contaminate it or not for the DNA purposes. It's like Fisch's tootbrush - that's still in his satchel.
