Happy Birthday Mairi! To answer your question I don't think I'll be attending but I know the infamous Steve Romeo will be there. I've also heard that "Script" might be there as well. If so, see if he has any of those gold coins I keep hearing so much about.... It's always a treat to see Dr. Gardner and to hear him discuss the case under any circumstance. Of course his book, The Case That Never Dies, is the best ever written on the subject so it is a great opportunity here to see him discuss this angle. 165.230.98.36/acatalog/__The_Case_That_Never_Dies_1350.html#1977

Thank you, Michael, for the B'day greetings. Seems like every year I get older. Can't figure that ! Had a lovely day. I have the Gardner book and really enjoy it. Have managed to acquire a good number of the books now, more recently Wm Norris' book, all of which I love reading. Your two posts, here are such good coverage, especially as good pointers toward the 31 March event. Am extra happy with the USA history link you gave! "Jedgar" Hoover's diplomatic letter to Wilentz still got the point across, I'd say.
