Great find Sue, and that was really enjoyable. A couple of inaccuracies, like Mrs. Morrow being at Highfields and incorrect height of Charlie, but overall very well presented and acted. If you ever discover the complete episode, please post it!

Joe,
The program is 50 minutes long, and the above video is just over 10 minutes.
If and when I find the rest, I will post!

Wayne,
Thanks for finding this! I'm going to order from them!
Have you seen the whole show yet? If so, what do you think of it?
Thanks again!

Wayne, I had been looking for the "Second Verdict" program on the Lindbergh kidnapping for quite a long time! Two other programs that I have been unable to find: 1) the 1968 German TV movie called "Kidnap - Die Entführung des Lindbergh Babys," based on the book Kidnap by George Waller. www.comicbookreligion.com/?s=171832) The 1978 BBC documentary on the Lindbergh case that features Howard C. H. Donahue

Sue,
I've never heard of either. I'm looking for #1 and will keep you posted.
Do you know the title of #2? I know Donahue's work on the JFK case, but not on the LKC.

Hi Wayne, That is cool that you are looking for the 1968 German TV movie! Best of success! The 1978 documentary -- I'm not sure that I've ever seen a title for the program. A reference to that show was made in a news write-up after Howard Donahue's death. "He also researched and prepared reports on the forensic aspects of the Lindbergh baby kidnapping and the possibility of a bullet hole in the baby's head for a British Broadcasting Co. television special that was aired in 1978." www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1999-12-21-9912210051-story.html"Howard C. H. Donahue, 77, Ballistics Expert, Studied Kennedy's Death" By Frederick N. Rasmussen Baltimore Sun December 21, 1999

Hi Sue,
I remember reading the Baltimore Sun article years ago and trying to find Donahue's doc on the LKC with no luck.
If you find it, would you please share the info? I'll likewise share the German film if I can find it.
Thanks!

Hi Wayne,
Yes. I will let you know if I find the 1978 BBC special.
There was a BBC Lindbergh kidnapping special in 1982. I think someone would have remembered a guy named Donahue and his ballistics findings, so I don't think the 1982 doc and the 1978 doc are one and the same.
Sooner or later the German TV movie and the 1978 Special will turn up if we both keep looking!
Thank you!
