Thanks to this site and to Michael's books, I am finding all of the incorrect information in the other books and web sites. Some blatant. Names, dates, places, etc. One book kept referring to Highfields as Sorrell Hill. People interested in the kidnapping need to join here and read Michael's books. Thank you Michael! You are welcome and we are all here to help each other find the truth of this case and Michael's books is full of real facts and Michael has you to thanks for helping him during his research into this case.

Just a quick question. Even if you had any of your so-called kidnapping gang, how would you know that they were guilty? Do you think anyone who participated in the kidnapping and murder of the world's most famous kid wrote down a confession somewhere that you'll find, perhaps at the estate at Hopewell? Or maybe it was a death-bed confession, and is in hospital files somewhere. Just tell the world how you're going to determine who the guilty parties are? Sorry, but I can only wait two years from a now start for an answer to this critical question.

Agreed. It's why I added a "thank you" to everyone on the Board in the acknowledgements. Without the various discussions I'd know much less now than I do. Just a quick question. Even if you had any of your so-called kidnapping gang, how would you know that they were guilty? Sorry, but I can only wait two years from a now start for an answer to this critical question. I think we all come here to discuss the case for our own individual reasons. Some believe Hauptmann was "innocent." Some believe he was a "Lone-Wolf." And some believe the answer lies outside of these two choices. How do we get to the bottom of anything? Facts, study, and new information. This is my only intent. I obviously had (and have) new information - as well as the correct versions of stories that have been skewed over the years. So there it is to consider - or not. However, it makes no sense that one would want to learn about the case but not have this information to consider in order to apply it to their position.
