anyone read it.
In it he mentions the contradictions in Condon's story on the second cab driver.
there is the explanation
that the driver took off
quick, then there is
the that the driver wore a cabbies cap and had side flaps in the jewish tradition, maybe he was hasidic, but why wear a cabbie cap.
then he said that the driver said he got it from a man at 188 street and Marion avenue, - not very far from Condon's house. That his daughter Myra saw him, and another that Myra didn't see him.
I think, of course I am probably wrong, that Condon did see him, and it looked like the description, that even he did speak to him,
that Condon was just so excited with the event, he did not really pay attention the detail of getting his name.
Which , Considering who Condon was, that he was a
Professor, that he would not overlook such an obvious
fact may explain why he also said the driver just took off
very quickly.
was there a cab, Capt Oliver
watching the house said
nothing about it. which is
very strange also, but
then CAL and Breckinridge
were present in the house, so who knocked on the door, rang the buzzer.
I do not see it as
someone, say a Condon accomplice on foot.
It just dosen' wash with
anyone who knows anything about
Condon. When he said his
motive was to return the
child to his mother's arms
he meant it. That was
Dr. Condon. He was a super
patriot, he was one of
those people who went to
parades, church every
sunday, even read philosophy.
saw America as the greatest
country in the world.
Well, don't you?
and the Bronx as the
finest of Places to live.
Well if you were middle class
back then, the Bronx was
a pretty good place at that.
Funny in that in 1931 Condon's
son Joseph, bought a house in
Pelham Manor, just over the boarder,
if you drive along Boston Post Road,
past Dyer avenue, and past Connor
street from the Boro Beautiful.
