"Cemetary John" mentions that Jewish mobster Rossner answers the phone at the Lindbergh household "days" after the kidnapping. This shows a "mastery" element to the crime that I claim is an essential part of any "mastermind" theory. Since my mastermind James Warburg plays a weekly poker game with Rossner's murder inc. Jewish mobsters a block away from the ransom money giver T. Lamont who had dealings with Warburg family members town house on E. 70th street it makes Rossner another "inside man" just as the Morrow's dressmaker & prime suspect Junge is Warburg's governess's sister - she's four blocks away at Morrow's E. 66th street townhouse, as well as at Englewood & Hopewell. That's 3 inside men: governess in Morrow house, Rossner in Lindbergh's house & Warburg a block away - looking in the window of ransom-giver Lamont's house within a week or so of the Kidnapping. THAT'S how a mastermind master's the situation to pull off the Crime of the Century!

I'm not discounting any of these apparent coincidences Alan, but how many others like it do you feel exist in this case? 20.. 50.. 250? They're all very attractive butterflies but you need to land one squarely on the forehead of a mentally ill German carpenter from the Bronx to make it work.

Connecting Warburg to Hauptmann:Zorn neglects to mention when police enter Bruno's house there are furs all over the place. He was in the fur trading/fur dealing business with Fisch. Warburg's bank financed 25% of the U.S. Fur industry & his first printed work c. 1921 was on fur trade. Warburg at time of crime says he worked at Majestic Apartments. Today Warburg Realty handles the Majestic & I suppose it did then. Anna Hauptmann had worked for a Jewish family as a maid. When the Morrow dressmaker Junge was fired by the Morrows for theft she got a job for a rich woman at Waldorf Towers. I feel the placing of Anna & Junge may be Warburg moves (after all Junge's sister was his governess).

That's the longest sentence I've ever read. The furs were possom - Anna never worked - there were no Jewish friends of BRH other than Fisch, tell me of one. Zorn is no better a source than William Norris - do you trust either one?

1-Hauptmann is living in NYC whose population is 30% Jewish. He's investing on Wall Street whose brokers/lawyers & honchos have high % Jewish. He owns 50 shares of Warner Brothers stock - movies are a Jewish industry suggesting his tipster was part of that industry. He bought the wood for his ladder at Abrahamsons lumber yard, his local yard so presumably he had friendly relations with Abrahamson. Isidore Fisch is Jewish - that's his business partner - the MOST major connection & he is if not a mobster & money launderer as some claim, at least connected to the world of Jewish mobsters. Hauptmann as a fur dealer & trader - that industry is 100% Jewish. So no matter how you look at it Bruno is living in a Jewish world.
