It was Roosevelt. Misspelt me name - is Jack. Roosevelt is the only guy who would have wanted to do it and have accomplished it for this long of a time. Check your files - they still won't give them out. So you guys chasing ladders are chasing junk!

Hey I've looked at this crime forever, and no matter how unlikely, Franklin Roosevelt is the only person who qualifies as the guy who was behind the Lindbergh Crime. So like it or not IMO he's the final jerk. What does Rita and Rick say about the ole' stamp collecter?

It's well known that FDR hated Lindy. That's good enough for me, and more logical than many of the theories hereabouts.

Jack I find in this matter regarding FDR that its possible....the old school rich establishment , prescott Bush, the Harrimans etc...strange it seems to find a common thread with the federal reserve and and the powerful shadow government. Lindberghs fathers opposition to some of the big boys . American history is not what you find in textbooks. Its a prop ( just like the ladder)

Seems to me one possibility is that some powerful people didn't want CAL, the rogue, to run for president in a few years so the set up the kidnapping as a warning that went awry. What is hard to figure is that somehow CAL had to have been informed that the child was dead. There was a very small window there in which to do that, and it could have been accomplished by whom? Betty? No one mentioned incoming phone calls except for Red Johnson. Did he tell Betty the child was accidentally killed and she told CAL? It seems he wouldn't let something like that slide, but other things seem strange as well. Most strange is his not getting the money as quickly as he could have.

The 2nd chapter of my book "The Lindbergh Baby Kidnap Conspiracy" is "Roosevelts" (1st chapter is "Warburgs"). Roosevelt's architect cousin BUILT the Hopewell mansion where the kidnapping took place so the blueprints groundplans are in the conspirator's loop. Anne Morrow was at the Chapin School for girls where she "bullied" Anna Roosevelt - the 1st thing FDR said to Lindbergh at their one meeting was "I think your wife & my daughter were at school together" - a dig. FDR was head of the Wilson Society, Lindy's father was Wilson's #1 enemy. Thomas Lamont - Dwight Morrow's Morgan partner who assembled the ransom money at his E. 70th street townhouse was renting digs in Roosevelt's East 60's townhouse before he moved in. The fingerprint expert Hudson who was Bruno's best witness at trial headed Asst. Secretary of Navy Roosevelt's personal gestapo getting sexual dirt on sailor's to set up prosecutions - see Conrad Black's page-long footnote in his FDR biography. Lindy is the chief political opponent on the horizon of FDR in 1932. And, of course his future "brain-truster" & asst. budget director James Warburg actually engineered the crime.

Lindy wouldn't be old enough in '32 but the party or somebody was looking at him for '36. He upgoofed or he was made to upgoof. I still think the Nazi party had something to do with the whole thing, but if they had him by the gonads, why not want a President who was anti-war? Instead if they were involved they created an unPresident - of course the Nazis are not known to be particularly brilliant. Everybody complains nowadays about the Jewish holocaust yet nobody bitches about the slaughter of innocents which the United States sent to unnecessary World Wars I & II. Regarding Pearl Harbor - the negotiators were at the table when it happened. All they wanted was oil rites for a few islands. Big deal. Roosevelt wouldn't give it to them, so boom. CAL knew he was hot - why he picked that night to be home we'll probably never know. More interesting is why he left Skean away. Are we just so stupid to buy this blarney?
