I keep thinking back to this theatre theory of the LKC, performed May 15-17, 1998 in Washington, D.C.
THEATER
In Hugh Walthall's "Jean Stafford's Theory of the Lindbergh Kidnapping," the short story writer and title character imagines meeting Lindbergh and "Wild Bill" Donovan as she tries to figure out who really kidnapped Lindbergh's son. James Beller will direct a cast of six in a workshop (read: bare bones) production of the local poet/actor/playwrights' first full-length play at Studio Theatre's Secondstage. Walthall's play had its initial reading last year at the Signature Theatre as part of the "Stages" series.
