The New York Daily News has a fantastic photograph of Hauptmann and his fellow beachgoers! The title reads: "Before Clouds of Suspicion Swept Over Hauptmann's Life" Published on January 31, 1935, the caption under the middle picture says: "Bruno Hauptmann strums a mandolin at a musical affair similar to the one which his wife testified yesterday occupied his time on the night of the Lindbergh [ kidnapping.]" "L. to r., Hans Kloppenburg, Hauptmann, an unidentified man, and Mrs. Greta Henkel." "The four on the right are unidentified." (page 21) nydailynews.newspapers.com/newspage/417260670/Where is Hauptmann's family photo album? Not only the beach pictures, but so many others, like the ones taken at the New Year's celebration following the kidnapping? Allegedly, photographer John Braue had these pictures stolen from him by his landlord. Can anyone name the four unidentified people in the picture?

Thanks Sue for posting this, and for anyone who can't open the Times link, here is the cropped photo your referenced. I believe that might be John Braue, third from the left, with Anita Lutzenberg beside him. And I think Gerta Henkel is actually the woman at the extreme right.
