To continue....
Try looking at how Koehler fudged the "discovery" dates which concerned Rail 12 & 13. It's kind of like that. Except for the length of time its a very similar situation. Same with what they did with the chisels. It's the whole reason I wrote the book like I did so all of these things can complement the others by showing their tendencies.

Here are some pictures that I believe I once meant to post but can't remember doing so. They are more relevant to V1 but its important I do something as I think about it or I might forget to do it - again Deputy Chief Charles Williamson: imgur.com/rNrSgc5Joseph Kutcha and his dog: imgur.com/YvJVjcN

I’ve seen the Kutchta one before. I think a clearer version is on the board somewhere. Is he standing in the access road, where the footprints were?

Michael,
On p. 550 of TDC Vol. III, you state that juror Liscom Case "believed Koehler over DeBisschop." Since I have never heard the name "DeBisschof" in connection with the LKC, can you please briefly describe who he was and what he testified to?

In a nutshell, he was a defense wood “expert” who brought two completely different pieces of wood of different ages to demonstrate that similar grain did not mean they were once the same board. He disputed the “match” between S-226 and Rail 16. While he was on the stand the NJSP wired Waterbury Chief Inspector Keegan looking for dirt on him but we’re disappointed to learn that he was highly respected with no record.

Here's a photo I was going to use for V3 but never did. The Jury took a bus trip authorized by Judge Trenchard. It's the only picture of it that I could find. The best part was that local kids in Flemington didn't overlook their chance to pelt it with snowballs as it departed. imgur.com/bTeeUl0
