Wow!!!
That truly is bizarre! In 1995, the Lindbergh kidnapping was not even on my radar so I was not even aware of this. Since I have been looking at this case, I did read somewhere that dying Charlie's hair was part of someone's theory on this case but sex change and skin dying??? Yikes!
Can you share any details that might have been in that pamphlet, if you made note of any? I can't imagine how this woman explained all this.

Can you share any details that might have been in that pamphlet, if you made note of any? I can't imagine how this woman explained all this. Sadly, no, I didn't take any notes on this document. It was a crude little booklet, handwritten and stapled together... and I just flipped through it. That was our first visit and we were trying to make the most of it, so our focus was on viewing the ransom notes, photocopying witness statements and viewing the photo binders; this claim was just an amusing distraction but also demonstrates the vast collection that is at the NJSP. Mark also provided us a copy of the "Jafsie's House of Facts" diagram but I couldn't make out some it. The recent discussion on it in the other thread was really insightful. The day before we had tours of both Highfields and the Flemington courthouse. How many people can say they drove directly from one place to the other on the same day?
