Well I continue to find new material at the Archives as well as in old sources. As I continue to write V2 I am currently at a place where I know what happened but wasn't always sure I could adequately explain it. After all, as everyone knows here, I am no English major. While at the same time, an English major doesn't think like I do so they'd never have what's in my brain to write. That said, I've always wondered to myself how everyone missed what I can so plainly see. That not only includes all of the Authors who have ever written a book on the subject but also the police. So I am at the Archives on Monday re-searching for documentation that I've missed over the past 17 years and not only find what I was looking for, but also wind up finding out that the police DID see what I do. It's amazing to me that I've been staring at the proof and never once noticed what it was. On top of that, this other document I needed to find (and did) gives even more proof. And so I can ask myself "how did everyone miss this" but the fact is I missed it too. But I've got it now.

I don't think it's a matter of people missing the obvious back in 1932-35. Rather, I think a lot of people, though certainly not everyone, saw what you're finding now, but swept it under the rug. Back then, given Lindbergh's status, what good what it have done to do anything else?

WOW - please hurry with the book!!! Thanks. Going as fast as I can. Sometimes it takes me an entire day for one paragraph. Too many sources can be both a curse and a blessing.

Typically in this blurb entitled "new finds," where is a new find?
