Great post xjd. This person did a lot of good research. I have looked into this a bit myself and have wondered if there might have been a serial killer behind some of these disappearances/deaths. I plan to take some time looking at this again in the future.

Wasn't it in Milford, Ct between 1926-1928? I could be wrong on the town though.

You did so much great research on this case. I hope you have read Michael's first book The Dark Corners of the Lindbergh Kidnapping Volume One. Would love to get your perspective on all the facts he shared in that volume. I am waiting for my copy of Michael's lastest book to arrive - Volume II of his series "The Dark Corners of the Lindbergh Kidnapping". Michael leaves no leaf unturned. Another hard hitting book of facts about the case and people who were involved with it. Constance was a student at Milford Academy in Dedham Massachuetts in 1929 when she received the extortion attempt. Francis St. John Smith was a student at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts when she went missing in January of 1928. Anne Morrow was also a student (senior year) at Smith College in 1928 and was very friendly with Francis St. John Smith. At the time of Charlie's kidnapping, a threatening note was received by Anne that brought up Francis St. John Smith. Here is an article that appeared in the newspapers about this note: You may already have seen this article if it is part of the reddit thread you mention.

Wow. That was interesting. I’ve read extensively about AML over the years snd I do not ever recall reading of this. I think that Anne’s mother always Betty Morrow also maintained extremely strong ties with Smith College. In fact I think Betty was possibly a regent (I couid me mistaken on her exact role though) But that was extremely interesting. I’m going to go read the rest of it now. Thank you for posting that, xjd .
